Pixie Party

Perfect pop soul, Pixie Lott is back and showcasing her fourth range with fresh fashion brand, Lipsy London. Previous collaborations have revealed Pixie Festival and Pixie Rocks, yet for AW11 it seems it's 'all about tonight' and that Pixie is ready to party!

So what can we expect from the collection? The designer doll revealed, "There are party dresses, day wear and it also has special dresses for New Years and Christmas, so lots of sequins and diamante dresses... so hope you enjoy them!"

At the launch party, celebrity clients had nothing but praise for Ms.Pixie. Presenter Sarah Jane Crawford let slip a little love towards Lott and the Lipsy brand, " I think it's fun and think it's nice for young girls. Pixie is a great ambassador for the brand, it's really cute!".

Wearing lashings of leather in her new video 'What do you take me for?', Lott touched on all the trends from ruffle prints, pretty peter pan collars, sheer silk shirts, heritage tweed and a little fleck of fetish!Cute collection, with the Brentwood babe proving again that the only way is Essex!

A Quick Commercial Break

About a Girl

Looking into the lens, you learn that Frances Bean Cobain did not only just inherit her father's estate. The striking shots capture her crossover into rock royalty lineage, with the grunge genetics showcasing her resemblance to both Courtney and Cobain.

Journalist and author of  'Heavier than Heaven', Charles R.Cross once noted of Kurt that, " He was the last great rock star and that is why there remains so much fascination still surrounding him". 2011 marks the 20th anniversary of the release of  Nevermind and Dior Homme's Hedi Slimone's style shoot has no alternative edge, just an authentic, thoughtful and timeless aesthetic.

Whilst Frances might be revelling in her new found celebrity skin, now that she is in the spotlight - without any scent of her teen spirit - is she in danger of  losing her religion or have found her true state of nirvana?

Rihannaissance Woman

Pop princess Rihanna is fast becoming the only girl in the world - and industry - being named as the youngest artist to achieve 11 number 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 list today. She has a man down, beating Stevie Wonder, yet Ri-Ri still has contenders in Madonna and top-selling artists Mariah Carey and The Beatles.

Mentor and Manager Jay-Z once famously stated: "I don't sign songs, I sign artists," and it is clear that since her 2006 debut she has come a long way from selling street stall clothes. The Bajan beauty was more beach babe back in the day, channeling weaves and waves before maintaining a more masculine and tailored look.

The good-girl-gone-bad star showed she had the power with 80s inspired suits and shoulder pads, before toying with loud and often R-rated outfit choices (we all remember her getting frisky in the farmer's field!). From Chanel SS10 to Christian Dior couture and gracing the cover of fashion bible Vogue, Haute-Fly looks at all of Ri-Ri's right moves.

Her sixth studio album, Talk that Talk is released this month.

A Tribe Called Quest

From Nepalese to Navajo - when on the road, create a kinship on the nomadic trail, and climb up the social ranking with this little selection of Haute picks. Aztec to Apache; ethnicity is the key. Wardrobes are in transition so cross-cultures mixing tweed with Tibetan inspired pieces, up keeping the line of heritage.

It was all high end Bohemia at Matthew Williamson, and Sass and Bide dared to mix tangerine and tribal, beaming in bold prints and leaving us all with sunny dispositions. SS11 pieces aren't yet set for hibernation but once again for another season on the high street! [or optional holiday]

Who Runs the World?...

Hopefully Haute-fly's persuasion can help build a nation of  tribal travellers for the AW11 winter wardrobe. Stylist Karl Plewka revealed on the set of River Island's capsule collection 'Savage'  that, "there is a definate trend next season that encompasses all the ideas of a world traveller. Thinking of somebody who has picked up everything from Morocco to Peru." So find your inner hunter-gatherer and start harvesting your perfect picks for this coming season...
