She's my digital girl!

From Armani to Escada , Basso and Brooke to Browns, Karen Millen to M&S , fashion lines whether high end or high street are delivering an evolution of style. Its given name is geek or cyber chic due to its pixilated take on digital prints and graphics. A decade after McQueen’s post-modern vision in his aptly titled A/W ’99 collection Weird Science –inspired by hyper-reality- designers Basso and Brooke opened the lid on an explosion of intense colour, sculptured silhouettes and digitally-inspired tailored blazers in their S/S 10 collection Science and Fiction. This key season trend is all about mixing nature with the synthetic, with Williamson’s and the late McQueen’s S/S 10 shows being stream-lined on to the high street in beautiful vibrant shades and amazing, abstract prints. An apocalyptic vision of the future or just refreshing rainbow prints? The future seems bright, so go forth, be bold, and join the cyber tribe in this final frontier of fashion.
