Lost my soul dear, down by (batter) sea...

Matthew Williamson's SS11 collection stripped back the brand to it's great genetic formula of  spectacular summer dresses, elegant embellishment and hints of metallic minimalism. We knew the land girls had arrived when the muted khaki tonal colours hit the catwalk.  A body conscious silhouette was evident, yet later Matthew's muses mellowed and melted into metallic tones and beautiful billowing parachute dresses.
Williamson says of the new SS11 collection " This collection is very much returning to the DNA of the brand and a laid back sense of glamour. The collection is about a girl and a wardrobe who is stranded on a deserted, tropical island and the sun comes down and her clothes become somewhat weather beaten and faded- and she becomes at one with nature."
Another beautiful collection stripped back to reveal the true power of this fashion house.
