It's that time of year again with the showcase of the New Look AW11 collection. 450 fashion bloggers, freelancers and feature writers flocked to view the hot picks for this season!
Senior Designer, Charlotte Gray revealed, "We have got the Baroque Gypsy trend which is inspired by the Balmain collection and we also have Wild Thing! which is all animals markings." Her personal favourite? "I quite like the 60s Story with all the colours! It's very pretty and girly and quite sophisticated all at the same time."
Fash pack favourites Hilary Alexander and Caryn Franklin were spotted in the showroom. Ms. Franklin sais of the collection, "The detail, the embellishment, there are some really good touches which make the clothes look a lot more expensive than they are." It seems the pefect pick for both the winter forecast and economic expense this season...
Designer Giles Deacon brought the high end straight to the high street with fantastic results. He said of the collection,"These are great pieces you are going to get noticed in!" and fashionistas couldn't give enough praise to the pieces.
Christina McDowell of GMTV gave the final verdict, " I loved it!this cannot be on the high street! It's designer worthy!"
Haute-fly is definatley going to be getting a new look this season!
AW11 Cocktail Hour
Inspired by the roaring '20s, Art Deco and the Jazz Age, think Strictly Come Dancing meets Coco Chanel with beaded shugs and flap pocket tailored chinos. If the charlston gets you in a flap then strike a languid pose with bobbed hair and a sheer beaded overdress. So will it be a martini, mojito or manhatten this cocktail hour? Just remember.... Keep dancing!
