Problem Child

Louise Gray most certainly surpasses her name in another fantastically fun collection for AW11. The explosion of colour and textures and stage presentation seem to betray Gray's design background at The Smiley Company and Crown Paint. ( Those hair pieces would have any child entertainer envious!) Gray's design signatures are noted as " colour, textures, hand silk screened, woven embroidered and printed techniques" with her inspiration for AW11 being " the young, the streets and the bold"-  throw in some Bowie and The Slits for good measure - and it seems this ever eclectic and innovative designer is trying to bring around some changes, putting fun firmly back into fashion.
